About Us
We like the way traditional dancing unites communities,
celebrates culture and brings joy to people's lives.
Our Dancing
Our dancing style comes from the border regions between England and Wales. Our repertoire consists of old favourites, our own compositions and others we have taken liberties with.

We are not averse to using dead composers to bolster our performances and have intro music from Beethoven and Richard Strause.
Our musicians, affectionately known as The Shambles, play a variety of tunes while we dancers catch our breath. All are steeped in British traditional folk music, dance and song. They are particularly adept at toe-tapping stuff.

Morris Dancing, in all its varied forms, is exuberant and lively. The combination of the rhythmic stepping and music, with everyone working together communally to achieve an exciting performance, makes this a very special art form.

It's performance is a pleasure for dancers and musicians alike and, so it would seem, for our audiences. We hope to see you soon.
